How to Donate

    Schedule your pickup

    Log in to your HelpVets account, choose a pickup date and book online in a couple of minutes.

  2. 02

    Place donations outside

    Bag or box your donations and leave them out on your scheduled pickup day. No need to be home.

  3. 03

    We collect & you give back

    We pick up your donated items, leave a tax-deductible receipt and donate a portion of all proceeds to veterans programs.

Your donations support America's veterans.

A portion of proceeds is donated to Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA) and its subsidiary, VetsConnect. Together, they improve the lives of veterans from both past and current conflicts by providing direct assistance and vital programs.

  • HelpVets collects household items you no longer need and sells them in one of our 8 local thrift stores.

  • We donate a portion of every sale to our charity partner, Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA) and its subsidiary, VetsConnect.

  • The VVA and VetsConnect use donated funds to provide direct assistance and vital programs that improve the lives of America's veterans.
